Snorkeling Not as adventurous as scuba diving but a lot of fun. If you want to feel like you are in a live aquarium, you will enjoy snorkeling in Puerto Rico and take a look at sea horses which you will be able to see up close. In addition to sea horses, you can also see parrot fish and octopus. Of course, you will not want to miss the colorful corals as well. Snorkeling is perfect near San Juan and the beaches that surround the city as well as in Dorado, Mayaguez and Humacao. Most of the dive shops in the area offer to rent snorkeling equipment as well as classes. You can also, if you are brave enough, venture into scuba diving from this adventure. Surfing Puerto Rico is called the surfing capital of the Caribbean. You can find surfboard rentals as well as body boards in most of the shops along the beaches.
